Gersdorffite
A sharp example of a pseudo-octahedral gersdorffite crystal, 1.7 cm, perched smartly on sparing matrix. While recent finds of the mid-2010s gave up a lot of this formerly rare sulfide, sharp crystals with good luster, of this quality, remained rare. Thumbnail specimens of this quality were actually hard to obtain even when larger specimens were plentiful! Laszlo Kupi photo.
