Beautiful Alpine classic (!) featuring sharp, lustrous hematite crystals to 2.5 cm with epitaxial red/brown rutile crystals on a matrix of smoky quartz crystals. The aesthetics and association is very fine and characteristic of the Cavradi Gorge locality. An increasingly desirable Swiss combination and locality. This is a fine example.
