The Brushy Creek Mine in Missouri is home to some of the United States’ most distinguished and collectable calcites. These beautiful calcites are often associated with chalcopyrite, such as seen in this example. A very aesthetic example in super condition, less one unfortunate but not terribly noticeable cleave on the prominent crystal, as seen. Otherwise fantastic, this specimen includes a very unique custom acrylic base from the Sunnywood Collection for a “floating” display.
