Tucson, Arizona, USAThis superb thumbnail sized crystal aggregate of Anglesite is from Tsumeb mine and displays the classic form seen at this important site. This fine cluster of white, wedge-shaped pseudo-pyramidal crystals is a really fine example. The largest crystal reaches 1.2 cm in length with another at 1 cm, both in excellent condition. Underneath, the glassy black core is also Anglesite, but presumably containing inclusions. Ex Weyand collection.
