This is a really rather excellent smaller display specimen of the classic, unique association of Duftite encrusted Calcite seen from the famous Tsumeb mine. Reaching to 1.7 cm on edge, the perfectly formed rhombic Calcite crystals are individually coated with a light dusting of sugary textured green Duftite microcrystals. The density of this coating varies between the direction the Calcite crystals face which makes the specimen very 3-dimension. Added to this already fine display, two 3 mm long, perfect deep emerald-green Dioptase crystals sit at one end. This beautiful specimen is a proper Tsumeb classic and is damage-free.
