These blue halite specimens were collected by Phil Simmons and others between 2007 and 2012 at the Kerr McGee Mine in New Mexico and is the best find of blue halite in the US and perhaps internationally as well. This particular specimen consists of a 2 isolated sharp bright blue halite crystals up to 1.6cm on edge sitting on a bed of white sylvite. A spectacularly aesthetic specimen from this famous American find.
