A lovely sharp pink morganite crystal with contrasting white cleavelandite and minor green tourmaline crystals. The morganite is so translucent that it is quite easy to read through. The back of the morganite crystal is etched where it must have detached from the wall of the pocket while in solution. At the base of the moganite crystal I noted something quite unique during inspection under a microscope. There are two clusters of small yellow bipyramidal crystals with excellent luster. Visually I believe these would be Fluornatromicolite however they have not been analyzed. Overall an excellent gem pegmatite specimen. Ex. Mark Cross Collection.
