Morganite
Unknown Owner
Two pink sharp euhedral morganite crystals separated by white cleavelandite make this specimen quite the eye catcher. A great specimen for any beryl collector. Looking at some of the faces you would almost swear it is twinned along the C axis. But beryl is not reported to twin since the plane it would twin on is already a symmetry element for beryl and would not produce a notably different structure.
