Halite
This is one of the most aesthetic miniatures from this famous find I have had the pleasure of selling. These blue halite specimens were collected by Phil Simmons and others between 2007 and 2012 at the Kerr McGee Mine in New Mexico and is the best find of blue halite in the US and perhaps internationally as well. This particular specimen consists of a sharp bright blue halite crystal sitting on a bed of white and red sylvinite. The main crystal is in excellent shape with sharp corners and edges. There is one contact on the back side of the main crystal.
