This miniature specimen from Wheal Pendarves, near Camborne in Cornwall bears some extremely sharp blood-red octahedral Cuprite crystals embedded within an intergrown open-textured Native Copper-Quartz matrix. These crystals reach 2 mm on edge and sit quite 3-dimensionally within the open finely crystallized Native Copper. Ex David Hardman collection, no. 2474.
