This is a spectacularly large display specimen of colour-zoned rhombic Calcite crystals from the world-famous Tsumeb mine in Namibia. Aggregated together in a wonderfully eye-catching arrangement, the white to cream coloured Calcite crystals are aligned in a sweeping sculptural form with much to draw ones attention. The rare lead copper arsenate Duftite features also, as extensive thin khaki-green coatings on the back of the specimen and across some of the front-facing Calcite crystals. For such a large Calcite there is no obvious damage to be seen on the display surface. A really wonderful large display piece from Tsumeb. Ex Weyand collection.
