This distinctive thumbnail specimen presents quite an unusual association for Tsumeb mine. On it a bed of prismatic divergent yellow-brown Mimetite crystals measuring to 1.5 cm are completely coated by a sparkling druse of colourless Quartz. Rice grain shaped white crystals of Smithsonite are then clustered over the Quartz. Ex John Schneider's remarkable Tsumeb thumbnail and miniature collection, no. 1130.
