Goethite Coating Cerussite Pseudomorph After Anglesite
This is a really superb large miniature specimen from Broken Hill in Yancowinna County, New South Wales, Australia displaying the classic pseudomorph of Cerussite after Anglesite coated in very dark chocolate-brown Goethite. The pseudomorphs are sharp and perfectly defined, and sit wonderfully for display with the largest crystal measuring 2.8 cm in length. An excellent example of these classic Broken Hill pseudomorphs which were reportedly found in the Kintore Opencut in 1989. Ex Milton Lavers collection.
