A gorgeous, meaty gold specimen in the small cabinet size range from the famous Valentine's Day 2024 find here, the first big find in many years. This specimen looks much more like old Gold Rush era golds in terms of solidity and style, than the typical Eagles Nest material. It features at least 3 different gold styles in one atop another in proximity - all sharply formed. The piece is hefty at 118 grams and contains a lot of gold, but of course it is not valued for weight so much as the aesthetics. This is unusual for the style amidst others here: a very 3-dimensional, robust, curving growth of gold rising from a natural pedestal of quartz matrix. The cluster is solid, crystallized, but also at the same time curvaceous and elegant. It is so bright and dimensional, it is hard to get the camera to focus (and the eye as well), so that it looks almost moving as the eye roves over it. Complete all around, both sides.
