McIntyre mine at Timmins, Cochrane District, Ontario, Canada is a famous old gold mine dating back to the early 20th century renowned for some very rich specimens of Native Gold in matrix. This miniature specimen displays thin 'leaves' of bright metallic Native Gold and more irregular hackly patches within white Milky Quartz veinstone. Associated sulphides include Pyrite. A fine rare example from this important early Canadian gold mine.
