Splendidly displayed against a highly-contrasting, dark grey backdrop of Goethite are several superb Vanadinite crystals that boast a deep red hue and a textbook hexagonal shape. The largest of these crystals reaches an impressive size of 1.3 centimeters. Each crystal is accented with a strong glassy luster and surficial gemminess that intensifies the Vanadinite's rich color. Minor associations of white, bladed Baryte peek out from the thin layer of Goethite. Please note, there is a typo on the custom acrylic base that indicates the specimen's locality is the "ACIF Mine," rather than the "ACF Mine."
