This hefty specimen features a large, blocky, tabular Ferberite crystal that is sharply-formed into a spear-point with light stepping along the left side of the termination. The front and back sides of the specimen are lined with a handful of sizable parallel growths, which give the piece a subtle three-dimensional display. Each crystal has a deep grey color that is accented with a metallic blue tinge and a mirror-like effect; the wider, flatter faces are lined with dozens of well-defined striations that accent the Ferberite's strong metallic luster. Several associations of contrasting white Quartz are scattered around the specimen, especially covering the back side and parts of the termination in patches of sparkling druze and terminated crystals. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
