When Dan travelled to the 2020 Emeryville Mini Show, he acquired this spectacular specimen of crystallized Copper, which is beautifully accented with bright, velvety green associations of Malachite. The main body of the specimen is composed of bulky dendritic growths that branch upward to a thinner but well-defined "frond" in the top-left corner. Almost all of the Copper crystals are generously coated with a rich brown patina, sharply contrasting the overlying Malachite. A handful of miniscule but flashy Calcite associations are isolated across the bottom of the specimen. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
