This is an exceptional cabinet-sized example of the Wulfenite material to come from the famous Erupción Mine of Los Lamentos. Each Wulfenite crystal has a nice luster and bright orange color that perfectly contrasts against a brilliant-white Calcite backdrop. The thick, tabular shape of each crystal is classic for Los Lamentos, reaching a respectable size of 1.6 centimeters. Many of the crystals are nicely isolated across the Calcite coating, nicely highlighting each Wulfenite. Everything in this specimen is draped over a darker limonitic matrix, which has a distinct football shape. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
