Dotting the front side of this magnificent cabinet specimen are incredibly sharp, doubly-terminated Sulphur crystals (up to 3.7 centimeters) that are set against a druzy Aragonite matrix. Each crystal is lustrous, transparent, and has a characteristically bright lemon-yellow color; many of the larger crystals stand out with darker inclusions, likely residual petroleum, and prominent skeletal features. The Aragonite has a bright white fluorescence and phosphorescence under a strong shortwave UV light and an intense pink hue under longwave UV light. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
