Commonly referred to as the "nail head" habit, this prismatic and elongated form of Calcite looks incredible as a cluster specimen, with substantial and extremely well-defined prisms shooting off from the point of crystallization. These super large, proportionally-pleasing crystals are accented by blooms of small, super-transparent points in the center. The terminations of the Calcite crystals are clean and sharp, and beautifully show the trigonal crystal structure inherent to the species. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
