One of the main focal points of this specimen is a robust, doubly-terminated crystal of Arfvedsonite that reaches an impressive 9.9 centimeters in length and is nestled amongst a group of Feldspar crystals. Each of the Arfvedsonite crystals have a nice luster and deep bluish-black color that contrasts well against the white backdrop of Feldspar. Unlike your typical Arfvedsonite crystals, the primary crystal becomes fibrous at the termination; to a lesser extent, this behavior is also seen in the smaller Arfvedsonite crystals. Along with being well-formed, the larger Feldspar crystals have distinct Carlsbad twinning; the largest of these twinned Feldspars (4.3 x 4.0 x 2.7 centimeters) is presented at the top right of the specimen.
