This piece captures everything you could ask for from a Cruzeiro Tourmaline: two gemmy crystals with excellent terminations that are aesthetically arranged across a proportional Lepidolite matrix. The main focus of the specimen is centered on a single towering crystal of Elbaite that reaches an impressive height of 11.5 centimeters; a small handful of accenting Elbaite crystals are scattered around the matrix. The matrix itself is bristling with beautifully metallic lepidolite, many with purple cores. The primary Elbaite crystal has a water-clear transparency and alternates between deep pink and dusky forest green zoning with just a hint of fiery-red saturation at the termination. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
