In a world full of strangely modified and complex Pyrite, from the Peruvian striated crystals to bizarre flattened octahedrons from Mipillas, Navajún Pyrite is, quite literally, a return to form in a way that is so perfect, many non-collectors can hardly believe this material is naturally occuring. Isometric in structure, Pyrite in its most euhedral form is but a simple cube. It is in this simplicity that Navajún Pyrite finds its allure, especially when the cubes are stacked upon each other in impossibly aerial arrangements. The ample amount of matrix in this specimen hosts a stunning thirteen cubes, artfully arranged and wonderfully brassy. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
