Creedite specimens that have a naturally occurring purple color are exponentially rarer with only a few localities around the world having produced anything noteworthy. Just about every inch and crevice of this specimen is completely covered in hundreds of brightly flashing, sharply-formed Creedite crystals, all of which have a lavender to rich purple color. A couple handfuls of crystals are accented with very subtle rust-orange inclusions and some isolated flecks of matrix. Though these purple Creedites are inherently scarce, full cabinet-sized specimens such as this piece are an even greater novelty as most other specimens reach up to small-cabinet in size. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
