An extremely striking specimen that features a single massive "obelisk" of Microcline that is aesthetically perched atop a matrix of interconnecting Albite crystals. The Microcline crystal is splendidly-formed and reaches a remarkable size of 14.7 x 9.2 centimeters. Along with its radiant porcelain-white hue, the Microline has a visually interesting (and dichotomous) mix of earthy and glassy lusters that are beautifully displayed on the specimen's front side. Aside from the Albite, the matrix boasts quaint associations of grey Muscovite in cavernous alcoves across the bottom right side of the front view, adding a nice contrast of color and depth to the specimen's display. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
