NATIVE Copper

This large thumbnail Native Copper is especially well-crystallized from Tsumeb mine. Slightly branching in form, but with a closed loop on one side, the crystals take two forms: smaller, equant blocky crystals; longer, spear-shaped spinel twins. It has a nice copper-orange colour and fine historic patina. It might be small, but it is full of detail and from such a famous locality. Ex David Hardman collection.
