This is a rare pseudomorph of Anglesite after Cerussite, an Australian classic that is rarely available. They are said to be old, from the early 1900s era. This attractive and very three-dimensional piece displays a sharply reticulated twinned Cerussite that is quite long at 4.2 cm that has been completely replaced by Anglesite crystals and overall, the piece is white or off-white in color. Each of the reticulated twin components is completely replaced by Anglesite and then covered in 1 mm, glistening, colorless Anglesite crystals. A lovely pseudomorph! Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Anglesite ps. Cerussite (SYP25-12b) and Cerussite (SYP25-12c).
