Classic, single Quartz GEM crystal from Mount Ida, Arkansas, that displays a perfect termination at one end and a fractured and recrystallized one at the other. It is a razor-sharp, textbook crystal with a small, 1.5 cm sidecar at the bottom. The bottom of the crystal was truncated at some point after its growth and then healed showing a fine, geometric growth pattern on the surface that adds to the character of the piece. There is a small amount of Goethite staining on this end. Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Quartz ps. Anhydrite (SYP25-21b) and Anhydrite (SYP25-21c).
