Presenting very dramatically, this unusual cluster of two rare Tsumeb species presents nice contrasts: the deep-green, lustrous Zincolivenite as matrix for evergreen-colored Adamite crystals, shows why some of the best specimens of combo minerals have come from Tsumeb. The Zincolivenite as matrix, composed of interlocking crystals up to 5 mm, provide complete coverage edge-to-edge, and the high luster of the crystals simply enhances the quality even further. Interestingly, there are sprays of 2-4 mm-size, light-green crystals towards one end of this specimen. These lighter crystals are Adamite! A highly unusual, large thumbnail specimen from the 1980s. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 42110.
