Fine and attractive, this cute and sparkly combination piece features Calcite, Dioptase, and micro Duftite (for which Tsumeb is the TYPE LOCALITY). To me, the micro-to-5 mm Calcite rhombs have a sparkle and translucence that creates a feeling of winter's ice. There is also classic orange fluorescence which adds yet another dimension to the piece. GEMMY, 1-2 mm Dioptase crystals, with superb luster and color, are sparingly spread across the surface, with the micro green Duftite adding a bit more coloration and importance to this already aesthetic specimen. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 37541.
