From the important miniatures collection of Dr. Steve Smale, assembled over nearly 70 years, comes this perfect sphere of adamite with the perfect granny-apple-green color. It looks like it was made, machined to fit on a pedestal; it sits on an unusual stalk of limonite/goethite matrix which results in a great aesthetic. We have seen many of these, but this one stands out. It would have come out in the early to mid 1980s.
