Calcite forms in hundreds of crystal shapes and colors, a key factor in its popularity amongst collectors. The Wenshan area produces amazing specimens, including impressive stalactites, clusters, and crystal bursts. One of the finest examples from the location, its shape and perfection seems a physical impossibility. And while most examples lack color, here a warm golden hue adds a perfect touch of relief contributing to its dramatic aesthetics.
