La Morita mine in Chihuahua is one of the more recent (since 2018) producers of significant, specimen quality Wulfenite, in Mexico. This small miniature specimen is one very large tabular butterscotch-orange crystal (3 x 3 cm) attached to a very small piece of Baryte, but technically detached from matrix. Several small balls of creamy-yellow Mimetite sit upon the very glossy resinous surface of the Wulfenite. The Wulfenite crystal has great shape, with classic bevelled edges and slight stepped, to almost shallow pyramidal growth where crystals have extended upwards from the front tabular crystal surface. There is slight chipping to one edge, but this is a large and pretty tabular Wulfenite crystal from this relatively new find.
