This miniature richly crystallized Olivenite specimen comes with two old typed labels - one French, the other Italian. The latter refers to Gregory, Bottey (sic) London. This dates it to at least pre-1981, the year that the company became Gregory, Bottley and Lloyd, but the specimen is probably considerably older. Interestingly, the Italian label only states "Cornwall", but the French label "Wheal Unity". It is certainly classic Wheal Unity/Wheal Gorland material, with gossanous Quartz matrix richly invested with small but well-formed deep olive-green Olivenite crystals.
