A "flower" of classic 1980s-style mint green apophyllite, approximately 3.5 x 3.5 cm, sits nicely on contrasting stilbite matrix on this well-trimmed specimen. It is a very classic style - the first find of apophyllites that got me excited as a young collector in 1985-1986 when I saw this material coming out. To this day, this old style remains unique and different from any contemporary material found in the abundant quarries of Nasik and Jalgaon, to the North of this old Pashan quarry (now closed). It is sparkling, like mint green jewels!
