A lovely emerald consisting of two parallel beautifully terminated emerald crystals 1.7cm long and 1cm wide sit on top of a bed of lustrous off-white calcite with sparkling pyritohedron’s of pyrite scattered about. Really the composition, associated mineral assemblage and gem quality of the emerald leave little else to be desired for a matrix specimen from this famous Columbian emerald mine. Please note this specimen is repaired. Ex. Dick Ertel Collection
