A rarely seen Stilbite-Ca from the classic old-time Icelandic locality of Teigarhorn, collected long before Indian zeolites appeared on the market. Small cabinet in size, it features several classic sheaf-like, or bow-tie, crystal aggregates of cream coloured Stilbite-Ca reaching over 4 cm in length. These zeolite crystals in no way compare aesthetically with the flood of specimens from India, but are prized for their rarity from this somewhat forgotten classic site where collecting is no longer permitted. Ex David Hardman collection. A fine Icelandic classic.
