Description
Crystals of Native Gold of any size are extremely rare and instantly hold a premium above nugget gold. This beautiful crystallized thumbnail Native Gold is from a region where humans are rare! It is from Murchison Shire in Western Australia, where 114 people live in an area of 41,000 sq km. The Native Gold forms not one crystal, but at least three cubo-octahedral crystals stacked upon each other in a linear fashion. The lower two crystals which individually measure 6 mm across are co-joined with the third crystal (7 mm across) balanced on top. The crystal form of all of these crystals is exquisite for Native Gold. An absolutely delightful Australian Native Gold.
