A lustrous slightly translucent dioptase crystal 0.7 cm in size set nicely up on matrix. In good condition, crystallized calcite is present as well.
Editor's note
Dioptase from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia is considered a classic and valued by collectors, especially specimens with larger individual crystals on a contrasting matrix. This specimen ticks all the boxes for the price - the single crystal is glossy, very characteristic of its locality, has some damage acceptable for the price, but compensates with smooth crystal faces and sharp edges.
