Discover this stunning large cluster of double-terminated calcite crystals sourced from the classic Sweetwater Mine locality in Missouri, USA. Sweetwater mine is mainly used as an industrial mine for lead, but it also produces some incredible calcites, including these yellow pieces as well as dragonscale calcite. These pieces look similar to the popular yellow Elmwood mine calcites, but are at a lower pricepoint.
There are 5 large yellow calcite crystals on this piece which are all in excellent condition. There is some chalcopyrite on the matrix, which gives off bronze, red, yellow, and green colors.
