Wulfenite

This is a lovely rich Erupción mine Wulfenite displaying the classic butterscotch to orange, blocky cuboid crystal form with a greasy lustre. Almost the whole specimen is made up of aggregated Wulfenite crystals of great shape, some displaying partial overgrowth of a pale cream coloured mineral, possibly Mimetite, adding to its character. Wulfenite specimens from Erupción mine at Los Lamentos are unique in their form and this is a fine very large miniature example. Ex David Hardman collection.
