A two generation calcite specimen, the first generation and iron oxide coated scalenohedral crystal grouping. A second-generation of sharp rhombohedral mostly gemmy and colorless crystals coat these previous first generation crystals. These then exhibit phantom crystals in the second generation. In good condition with slight micro-chipping present as seen.
