Rosasite ps. Malachite ps. Azurite$2,000.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This interesting and teal-blue Tsumeb combination piece is a large cluster of rosasite, intergrown with enveloping drapery of smithsonite or calcite at the base. The rosasite, which forms crystals to 2 cm, is all replacement pseudomorph after malachite; and the malachite in turn has replaced azurite making this a double pseudomorph! Rosasite from Tsumeb is quite rare, and especially in large pieces such as this. The contrast of white and blue really makes it stand out. Old material, certainly from prior to the 1970s.
