An old classic, these siderites from old English mines were once worth their weight in gold and considered finest of species. This is a really sharp cluster of beautiful brown crystals, with golden highlights. It is in almost pristine shape, which is a miracle given that it most likely dates to the mid 1800s. From old collections, although we have lost any further history beyond the recent previous owner (from Dick Hauck's old classics suite, in a deal we purchased several years ago).
