This sky blue doubly-terminated aquamarine is a coveted treasure from the remote forested slopes of the Idaho mountains. The quality of the specimens found in this region are quite astounding for material from the US. Some would compare the deep blue saturation and gem clarity to the Aquamarine production from Vietnam. It’s hard to find a more prestigious example of Aquamarine from North America than you will from the deposits in the Sawtooth Mountains.
