Stunning, sharp, unusually isolated crystals to 7mm sparkle against contrasting hemimorphite matrix on this special combination piece from modern finds in this old ore mining district. These were a surprise! We saw previous summer seasons producing rich carpets of thick veszelyite crystals, and large specimens - the largest and richest of species. However, at Tucson 2024, Tom Praszkier and his team brought out a small group of special pieces from a summer 2023 find, with these choice, unusual, isolated crystals. The isolated contrast is unlike any finds we had seen, and we were happy to choose a few as he unpacked them. This piece features two colors of hemimorphite, both white and blue, under the veszelyite.
