Connellite with Cuprite and Malachite$250.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This large thumbnail specimen was collected from the dumps at Ting Tang mine during the 1990s. Connellite was uncommon amongst the material found, making this specimen quite rare. So much so, it was figured in the 1998 UK Journal of Mines and Minerals article about the mine. The Connellite forms beautiful velvety blue acicular sprays in a 4 x 1.5 mm cavity within Cuprite on Quartz veinstone. The Cuprite forms small but extremely well formed octahedral crystals with tiny wires of Native Copper. Ex Malcolm Southwood collection and ex John L. White collection (no. 1331).
