Glassy gemmy crystals of calcite to 3.5 cm in size across both sides of this matrix. On the backside of the piece the crystals are red and mostly opaque. This is in great condition. The piece could be displayed from either side nicely. Brightly fluorescent red under longwave ultraviolet light.
