Classic light pink lustrous slightly translucent ball of crystallized calcite 3.6 cm in diameter set perfectly up on a hematite matrix. Classic material for this old locality closed in 1963. This is in super condition. Brightly fluorescent. At one time the specimen was part of the collection of John Brottlund, a miner who worked at the Montreal mine and was responsible for recovering a huge number of specimens from the crusher.
